International Chair of Amazigh Culture

The Euro-Amazigh Forum took place in the city of Granada, on 5 and 6 November, organised by the Euro-Arab Foundation and the Foundation Doctora Leila Mezian.
The main aim of the workshop is to showcase the richness of the traditional Amazigh craft and culture (Berber), a culture with a strong spiritual component and very much bound to earth and history. The workshop will be held on 31 May and 1 June, 2016, at the Andalusian Library and is part of the International Chair of Amazigh Culture.
This International Symposium, organized by the Institute of Medieval Studies of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the NOVA University of Lisbon in collaboration with the International Chair of Amazigh Culture, will be held this year on the 22 and 23 September, 2016, at Lisbon (Portugal).
Through the International Chair of Amazigh Culture, Euroarab and Dr. Leila Mezian Foundations organised a presentation-concert on “Moroccan’s music”, on Sunday, 20 December 2020, aiming to make the rich and various musical heritage of this country known. That goes highlighting the traditional and contemporary Amazigh’s styles.
The deadline for submission of communications will be open until 12 March 2021. This edition titled “Universal Dimensions of Amazigh Common Cultural Heritage” will take place in Agadir (Morocco) in April.
La primera edición del Forum Euro-Amazigh, organizada por la Fundación Euroárabe y la Fundación Doctora Leila Mezian, se celebró en Granada los días 5, 6 y 7 de noviembre 2015 bajo el lema "Contribución de los amazighes a la historia y civilización de al-Andalus".
